a supplement to the Courses "SB" on the p-adic Siegel modular forms (cf "Downloads" page - agenda), at the session 11.00-12.00 on Wednesday 27th June.
Wednesday 20th June :
9.00 - Marc Munsch : Large values of L-functions
The distribution of values of L− functions in the critical strip is an old and profound topic in number theory. For instance, we could cite the central limit theorem for the Riemann zeta function discovered by Selberg. One fundamental question is to understand the large values and their frequence. Even though the maximal order of zeta inside the strip is fairly well understood since the work of Montgomery, the behavior on the edges of the critical strip remains open. Recently, Bondarenko and Seip obtained new results on the critical line Re(s) = 1/2 using the so-called resonance method. In a work with Aistleitner and Mahatab, we proposed a variant of the long-resonance method which allowed us to obtain optimal lower bounds for the Riemann zeta function on the line Re(s) = 1, answering a question of Granville and Soundararajan up to the determination of the constant. We show how the method can also be adapted in the case of Dirichlet L- functions (with Peyrot) as well as in the case of large character sums.

10.00 - Surya Teja Gavva :
Bounds on L-functions
This talk will be a survey on analytic problems of L-functions like subconvexity and moments. I will try to show how interesting the problems are by showing the variety of tools used to solve these problems and some applications if time permits.

Monday 25th June :
9.00 - Adam Keilthy : Relations and Filtrations of Multiple Zeta Values
Multiple zeta values generalise the Riemann zeta function to multiple variables, and contain a rich algebraic structure. They arise naturally in Feynman integrals and modular forms, and have a deep connection to the theory of motives. In this talk, we aim to introduce their algebraic structure, the relations arising from this structure, before explaining relations among MZVs graded with respect to various filtrations, including a new proof of Charlton's symmetric insertion theorem.

10.00 - Christoper Salinas Zavala : SPECIALS VALUES OF PARTIAL TWISTED ZETA FONCTIONS ASSOCIATED TO POLYNOMIALS.

Wednesday 27th June:
9.00 - Jolanta Marzec : On the standard L-function attached to Jacobi forms of higher index.
There is no doubt about importance of modular forms in modern mathematics. Jacobi forms are very closely related but seem to attract a bit less attention. This may be due to the fact that they do not easily fit within Langlands framework. Nevertheless, as we will see by investigating various techniques, their (standard) L-functions do satisfy good analytic and algebraic properties. The results that will be presented are the effect of joint work with Thanasis Bouganis.
1.- Contributed talks are encouraged. If you want to give a talk during the Summer School, please send a email to etzetas2018@sciencesconf.org with the title and the abstract (less than 10 lines), by Monday 18th June. The 3 sessions of contributed talks are scheduled on Wednesday 20th June, Monday 25th June, Wednesday 27th June. The duration of a talk will vary according to the number of contributions. Please specify in your email which day you would prefer for your talk,

2.- The miniworkshop on "PARI/GP", on Friday 22nd June afternoon, will be animated by Bill Allombert.
To prepare it, you will have first to download the last version PARI 2.10.0 (it is free), dated May 24th 2018, on your own computer, and to install it, according to the instructions of Bill.

The instructions are given in the "sourcesGUIDE_PARIGP_June2018.pdf" file, which can be downloaded on the "Downloads" page.

It is important to install it before Friday 22.

If you need some help for installing it, please contact directly

Hello, welcome to ZETAS 2018,

Below you will find practical information about the ZETAS 2018 Summer School:

1) Access to the scientific campus of le Bourget-du-Lac from the Chambéry train station (sncf) When you leave the station, turn left, and go straight ahead (you pass in front of the Mercure hotel). You arrive at the square called “Place de la gare”, where the bus stop “Gare” of line A is located. Take the bus line A towards the terminal stop “INSEEC”.

2) Scientific campus of le Bourget-du-Lac All the courses of the Summer School will take place in Building n°3 called "Pôle Montagne", room 052, on the ground floor. Attached the Plan of the Bourget-du-Lac Campus : To get to the Résidence les Arves, if you arrive on June 16th or 17th, To come directly to the Building n°3 "Pole Mountain", if you arrive on June 18th or after.

3) Meals Breakfasts will be taken at the Snack Chautagne restaurant (located near the LAMA), from 7h30 to 8h, from Monday to Friday. Coffee breaks will take place in front of room 052, on the ground floor of the Pôle Montagne. Lunch and dinner will be taken at Snack Chautagne restaurant, respectively from 12h50 to 13h50 and from 7pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday. All meals from Monday to Friday (breakfast, lunch, evening) are supported by the School. For breakfast, lunch and dinner at Restaurant Chautagne: a room is reserved for the ZETAS summer school. When you arrive in front of the building, please enter through the door on the left side of the building. The room which is reserved is on the left.

4) Accommodation for those who will stay at the Résidence les Arves When you arrive, go to the welcome office (right) . You will find documents under your name with your room key and your wifi identifiers.* You can arrive between 10am and noon or between 2pm and 11pm (there is a night guard until 3am). *there is Wifi network at the Pôle Montagne, at the LAMA, at the Bourget University library (BU Bourget), in the large lectures rooms of the USMB named Nivolet and Revard but not in the university residences. For internet access at the residence, a cable will be provided to you on your arrival with your room key. The internet connexion at the residence Les Arves will be activated on Monday 18 June in your room as soon as you will provide the “Mac address” of your computer to the person in charge of the computer systems. For the internet connexion by Wifi on June 16th and 17th, please move closer to the Department of Mathematics (LAMA, building 21) with your own computer, in order to allow connexion, in which a wireless terminal is active.

All the rooms are single rooms.

5) Excursions planned (weather permitting) “Relais du Mont du Chat” and “Molard Noir” on Wednesday 20th June afternoon, “Croix du Nivolet” on Wednesday 27th June afternoon.

6) Excursion on Saturday 23rd June An excursion to Chamonix is planned on Saturday 23rd June the whole day (weather permitting): departure by coach to Chamonix, cable car to La Flégère, walking/hiking to Planpraz, ascent by cable car to Le Brévent, panoramic excursion facing the Mont Blanc, free time in Chamonix Don't forget to bring walking shoes for hiking, a jacket to protect yourself from the cold in altitude, and glasses to protect your eyes.
